Despite embarking on their maiden European adventure, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Missing star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that all but secures them a place in the Conference League playoffs.

Another three points in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure straight entry to the last 16, especially following a previous setback against Strasbourg.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.

A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
